  just sitting here thinking it's possible that the end could infact come in our life time.

  serious now i have had many dreams from god or jesus christ where i did infact survive the time & hour of armageddon and it was good.

  what yall think, are you giving up hope or are you praying that it would come?

  and who could forget the soundtrack to Highlander?

  anyhoo, the Darkness crack me up. They are really good fun entertainment so long as you can overlook the swearing. Admittedly I wouldn't want to hear young kids singing along to 'get your hands offa my woman mother f*****' but their whole performance is outstanding and they really involve the crowd. Compare that to bands like radiohead, who when at Glastonbury were the most depressing live act I have ever heard, and you can see why people like them

  Queen were possibly the most influential British band of the century. Forget the Beatles, Paul M has the charisma of a slug, Freddie Mercury was flamboyant, outragious, hilarious and had a vocal range most opera singers would die for. His duet with the huge Opera diva - Barcelona was wonderful and the vid for 'I want to break free' cracks me up even now.

  just an observation, the judges scripture where the mob wants to have sex with the visitor, isn't it pretty similar to the incident in Soddam and Gomorrah where Lot was visited by the angels?

  Is it me or did several OT writers repeat stories that had been used before?

  They opened Glastonbury this year - their first big gig and from there they became mega popular.

  I love them, they brought me rock before breakfast!!!

  Would You Give Blood To Someone Against Their Wishes?

  this subject came up with my mother yesterday.

  she is in her late 70's.

  she adamantly refuses blood.

  you only get one life, how many of us here have come out of the dubs as adults and come to the conclusion that we would take blood now if we needed it?

  If it would save a persons life I would do it and give them the chance to never speak to me again, at least then the choice wasn't on their conscience and they can have a second chance

  it's a shame the beagle2 hasn't contacted yet although when the mothership goes into orbit it may well be found. It amazes me that they spend hundreds of millions getting stuff up there and then 'hope' that it won't hit a big rock when it lands!

  depends how much I loved them. If it was someone I couldn't live without I would do it without a second thought, if a blood transfusion would have kept my mother alive I would have signed the form and kept the dubs out with shotgun if necessary.

  my nephew sent me this problem that his teacher gave him.

  you have to go through each line only once and come back to the starting point.

  start wherever you want but you have to come back to that starting point without missing one line.
